My starting point for this collaged piece was the yellow Sylvac vase that belonged to my grandmother and is of great sentimental value (hence the title). Once filled with a mass of neon florals and graffiti references it has taken on a new lease of life. The number 7 also proves to be very lucky for me, so it’s often a regular feature in my work.

It is an original mixed media piece on canvas combining acrylic and household paint, spray paint and hand cut collaged elements taken from my extensive floral library. The graffiti references originate from Bristol, my local city.
