About

Jules Wild is a mixed media/collage artist and works from her garden studio in the Cotswolds.

With a degree in ceramic design and a background in marketing, Jules retrained as a floral designer over 18 years ago and in that time has successfully grown an award-winning wedding and event flower company.

When her flower business came to an abrupt halt during the COVID-19 pandemic, she decided to go back to her artistic roots and started creating again, purely as a means of escapism and play.

After sharing some of her work on Instagram, mid lockdown, the feedback was so positive that she is now committed to creating art full time from her garden studio in Gloucestershire, alongside her wedding and event work.

With an obvious love and passion for all things floral, Jules’ artwork blends the beautifully romantic side of florals with the grittier side of urban art and graffiti references. Her work is a colourful, yet edgy, juxtaposition of the two, combining collaged, stencilled, painted and photographic elements.

LASTING IMPRESSIONS

i love the ebb and flow of life, the changing seasons and that nothing is ever really static or stable. Flowers are equally fleeting in their beauty, as is the impermanence of heavily graffitied walls, pasted with layer upon layer of torn posters and peeling club flyers. They tell such an interesting and diverse story.

i am also a huge fan of colour as well as mixed media, and through a process of layering and painting, cutting and pasting, my aim is to blend all these disparate elements together into something unique, vibrant and ultimately everlasting.
